Principal and staff profiles
Welcome from our Principal
Mr Michael Washington, School Principal
Welcome to Madison Park School, where you’ll find a vibrant community of happy and welcoming students from diverse backgrounds. As the Principal, I believe that children learn best when they are happy and surrounded by adults they like and trust. Our caring and talented staff deliver effective teaching programs grounded in world-class research.
Our Literacy and Numeracy programs are clear, consistent, and designed to support every child’s learning journey. Each class conducts daily Numeracy and Literacy blocks, ensuring a systematic and logical approach to the curriculum.
I am immensely proud of the kind and capable students who attend our school. Madison Park School has been recognised as one of the most successful schools in Northern Adelaide for individual student learning improvement, as evidenced by our NAPLAN results. If your child requires additional support, we offer successful student support programs to help them catch up. For those who are excelling, our teachers will extend their learning and challenge their intellectual potential.
Our students work hard in class and also enjoy a variety of fun activities. We host multiple family-friendly events throughout the year, where children can laugh, play, and forge friendships. Lunchtime clubs and special events are organised to build skills, promote friendships, and celebrate childhood.
Families can expect regular communication from teachers, who are always willing to meet and discuss your child’s achievement and address any concerns. I conduct a Principal’s tour every term for interested families and am always available for a chat at other times.
I welcome discussions with parents about their children and enjoy collaborating with families to help every child flourish at school.
Please contact the school if you would like to discuss your child’s education with me.
