School facilities
With our wide open spaces, Madison Park School has a variety of facilities throughout the school.
Gym
Our school gym is managed by our specialist Health and Physical Education (H/PE) Teacher. It is a modern building with full sized basketball court, two large screens with the ability to mirror lessons, sound system and new performing arts stage.
We also host assemblies in the Gym throughout the school term where students present past and upcoming events. Families are encouraged to attend and enjoy seeing their children perform.
Oval
Our oval is fully fenced and equipped with toilets, a playground, soccer goals, football goals, basketball court and 2 shelters. The schools grounds are spacious and have many green spaces and trees throughout.
Playground and gardens
We have a newly built playground and 1 nature-based playground that provide a fun outdoor learning environment. Surrounding each playground is wide open grassed spaces and trees giving the school a clean and calming feel.
STEM Building and Library
We have a newly refurbished STEM building and Library. With our focus on STEM throughout the school the building is resourced widely. Resources include student laptops, student iPads, ozobots, beebots and first lego league technology.
We also have a fully resourced library allowing students to borrow books for reading and research. The library also includes a research space with whiteboard tables allowing students to problem solve and work on projects together.
Intervention Centre
Our intervention centre is managed by 2 SSOs trained in bridging the gap for students through intervention. Working closely with our learner improvement coordinator, they utilise data to identify where students are at in their learning and if/when students need to access or exit from intervention programs.
